Registration for

CARF Remote Sensing Workshop 2022

13 to 14 October 2022

unfortunately no longer possible

The Cooperation across Research Fields (CARF) Remote Sensing aims to  strengthen collaborations of the Research Field Earth and Environment with the Research Field Aeronautics, Space and Transport (DLR). The planned activities build on a long-standing partnership and address the grand challenge of developing and enhancing observation systems from local to global scales.

In this workshop we will further explore possible joint activities with a focus on hyperspectral observations of surface properties, dynamical and chemical processes in the atmosphere and SAR remote sensing of  the polar region. Submitted contributions may deviate from these focus topics. The assignment is then based on the best fit.

Each theme will be introduced by a keynote. In addition, we invite suggestions for impulses on cooperation opportunities and posters. Posters can refer specifically to one of the main topics, but they can also go beyond that. In the case of too many suggestions for impulses, the Steering Committee may assign some of them to the poster session.
